Work Plan

The CREMLIN implementation scheme follows a two way approach:

(i) For each of the five Russian megascience projects CREMLIN provides a dedicated work package. These are the five thematic work packages.

(ii) Two horizontal work packages are devoted to cross-topic aims and activities: WP2 is devoted to establish an exchange platform, and WP8 is devoted to communication and dissemination activities as well as to education & training and aspects of innovation, technology transfer and industrial use around the megascience projects. The Russian IGNITOR project will be treated within WP2 “Exchange platform”.

The two-way approach of CREMLIN is an appropriate structure to address both challenges: In the individual thematic work packages the scientific needs and areas of cooperation interest and priorities of each Russian megascience project will be identified, both with a Russian and a European perspective. The project knowledge, expert insights and best practices that are generated across the five thematic work packages are synthesized in a joint exchange platform with supportive and facilitating character within the project to enable synergies, mutual learning processes and to develop further the cooperation strands and pathways with the megascience projects.

The set-up and the work package structure may be visualized like this:
